Hamilton sets pace in British GP first practice

Lewis Hamilton set the pace in Friday’s first practice session at the British Grand Prix.

Hamilton, the most successful driver at Silverstone and winner of last year’s race, set a laptime of 1:26.892, 0.023 seconds ahead of Lando Norris, with championship Oscar Piastri in third.

Hamilton’s Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc finished fourth quickest.
