- Bombie has attracted over 9 million players since launching in August 2024.
- A new game in the Bombie ecosystem, CapyBomb, has been announced.
- The BOMB TGE, airdrop, and initial exchange listing are expected in May 2025.
The long-anticipated Bombie token airdrop could arrive in May 2025 as new details emerge around the token and token supply.
The news arrives as the Bombie team’s often quiet social channels begin showing consistent signs of life, drumming up hope that the BOMB token-generation event (TGE) is just around the corner.
The Bombie Airdrop
It’s been confirmed that the total supply is 10 billion BOMB. This is according to X user Clytheronix , who attended the TON Society talk with the Bombie team on X Spaces.
Furthermore, the token’s distribution is aiming to go down a slightly different route from Hamster Kombat.

Instead, it will allocate airdrop tokens based on the number of tokens players have in the game, and the amount they’ve spent in-game, presumably fiat in the form of Telegram stars.
The team has also announced the release of CapyBomb , which is supposedly a new game in Bombie’s own GameFi ecosystem. It’s seemingly rooted in gamifying decentralized finance (DeFi), though what actual gameplay it features is yet to be revealed.
The Road to BOMB
The BOMB airdrop has been marred with confusion as the team has been painfully quiet about the token, until now. It has also employed an odd but interesting marketing strategy, as demonstrated by its “official” expansion into “anime.”
It also intends to move into film and music . Though judging from the community’s response, no one cares. They just want the airdrop.
There are concerns that there will be last-minute tweaks, as was the case with Telegram’s 2024 Web3 gaming stars, Hamster Kombat and Catizen.
Catizen’s Web3 Ecosystem
Bombie launched as the next major airdrop title in the Catizen gaming ecosystem, predating Cattea.
It launched in August 2024 and has since attracted over 9 million players, at least that’s according to the Catizen APP Center.
The team claims this figure is above 10 million , which is likely, as Bombie is also available on the LINE messaging app and the Kaia ecosystem.
Mahjong-inspired Cattea is the ecosystem’s third airdrop offering, and according to its Telegram bot, it garners almost 1 million monthly users.
Over a dozen other gaming titles are also available in the Catizen APP Center, and they seem to be attracting decent numbers.
However, these are still nowhere near the tens of millions enticed by the airdrop offerings of its three flagship titles, Catizen, Bombie, and Cattea.
