At least five people were killed in Israeli air strikes in the northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian rescue services said on Saturday.
At least four Palestinians died in the bombing of a house in Gaza City. Several others were injured, while others were believed to still be trapped under the rubble.
Another woman was killed in an attack on the Jabalia refugee camp, the emergency services said.
The reports could not be independently verified. The Israeli military did not initially comment on the incidents.
Israel says it has recently stepped up its attacks on targets connected with the Palestinian militant group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The latest attacks come one day after the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP) said that it has depleted all its food stocks in the coastal territory due to the ongoing Israeli blockade on humanitarian aid.
According to the Hamas-controlled health authority in the Gaza Strip, more than 51,300 people have been killed since the war began following the October 7, 2023, attacks by Hamas on Israel.
