Youngest point scorers in F1 history

After winning seven Formula 1 world drivers’ championships in 12 seasons, Lewis Hamilton left Mercedes and joined Ferrari in 2025. While it’s obviously challenging to replace a driver with Hamilton’s successful track record, Mercedes may have found a gem in Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

The 18-year-old Italian rookie finished fourth in the recent 2025 Australian Grand Prix, making him the second-youngest driver to score a point in an F1 race.

Here is a look at the youngest point scorers in F1 history:

Max Verstappen (17 years, 5 months, 29 days) — 6 points, 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix

Andrea Kimi Antonelli (18 years, 6 months, 19 days) — 12 points, 2025 Australian Grand Prix

Lance Stroll (18 years, 7 months, 13 days) — 2 points, 2017 Canadian Grand Prix

Oliver Bearman (18 years, 10 months, 1 day) — 6 points, 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

Lando Norris (19 years, 4 months, 18 days) — 8 points, 2019 Bahrain Grand Prix

Daniil Kvyat (19 years, 10 months, 18 days) — 2 points, 2014 Australian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel (19 years, 11 months, 14 days) — 1 point, 2007 United States Grand Prix

Jaime Alguersuari (20 years, 0 months, 12 days) — 2 points, 2010 Malaysian Grand Prix

Jenson Button (20 years, 2 months, 7 days) — 1 point, 2000 Brazilian Grand Prix
