Connor Bedard’s rookie cards were littered in nearly every Upper Deck 2023-24 Hockey product. And for good reason, many Upper Deck 2023-24 Hockey releases cost two to three times as much as the previous year’s product.
Hockey collectors are enjoying a year-over-year release day price reduction. Upper Deck 2023-24 Black Diamond Hockey was $500 USD per box on release day. The 2024-25 version of Black Diamond Hockey was $279. All the key rookies have a full offering of hits in 2024-25 Black Diamond Hockey.
Upper Deck 2024-25 Allure Hockey releases on Feb. 12, 2025. On the positive side, rookies Logan Stankoven, Jesper Wallstedt, Josh Doan, Lane Hutson, and Mavrik Bourque have a full offering of hits.
On the negative side, Macklin Celebrini, Matvei Michkov, and Will Smith have a limited offering of hits. Celebrini is limited to just three types of cards in the entire set; base extended rookie, black parallel of his base extended rookie, and a Red Rainbow Auto Parallel.
The current face of the 2024-25 hockey card rookie class is basically a ghost in Upper Deck 2024-25 Allure Hockey. Side note, if you plan on buying into breaks of 2024-25 Allure, do your homework on the checklist. Buyer beware.
The Golden Treasures 1/1 is the chase card of Allure Hockey. A 1/1 Golden Treasures of the 2024 No. 1 overall draft pick does not exist. As a matter of fact, there is not a single numbered parallel of Celebrini or the highly rare 16-bit.
Pump the brakes for a moment. Upper Deck 2024-25 Allure Hockey will be a solid product that breakers will pump out many cases of on release day. The 2024-25 version of Allure Hockey is affordable at $115. Each box offers, on average, one autograph or rare Doubloons card.
Celebrini was also a ghost in Upper Deck 2024-25 Synergy Hockey. It is hard to understand Upper Deck’s angle of limiting cards from the face of the 2024-25 hockey card class.
The people demand more Celebrini!
Happy hunting and collecting!
The whopping 10-game suspension handed out to Minnesota Wild right winger Ryan Hartman on Monday comes at an especially inopportune time for the team: https://t.co/MrymCvIgkf
