Thousands of Iranian dissidents join anti-regime channel, exiled crown prince claims

Pahlavi launched the campaign on June 29, following the announcement of a ceasefire in the Israel-Iran War.

Nearly 20,000 people have joined the secure communication channel for members of Iran’s military, security personnel, and others seeking to work against the Islamic Republic regime, Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi claimed in a post on X/Twitter on Saturday.

Pahlavi launched the campaign on June 29, following the announcement of a ceasefire in the Israel-Iran War.

“I thank those who have joined the National Collaboration campaign, and I invite those who haven’t yet to join as soon as possible,” Pahlavi wrote.

Other anti-regime comments Pahlavi has made over the past month

Pahlavi, on June 18, said that plans are in place for a 100-day transitional period if the Islamic Republic regime falls.

On June 23, he called for regime change in Iran and announced that he would be forming an opposition front.

Pahlavi condemned the Islamic Republic for its continual oppression of the Iranian people.

He warned the international community against providing the Islamic Republic with a lifeline, saying that only a democratic Iran would stop the development of its nuclear program.

Pahlavi on Wednesday announced that he will “convene a summit of national cooperation” on Iran sometime “in the coming weeks.”
