On today’s General Hospital recap:
Willow talks to Isaiah about the custody hearing and hopes she gets custody of the kids. She says her kids love Drew and they’re building a new family together. She doesn’t want to fight MIchael for sole custody. Willow says Michael refused to see her in Germany and she needs to protect her children.
Ava and Portia discuss Drew’s drunken sexcapades and Portia says he’s still coming after her. She’s worried Curtis will get suspicious. Ava brings up the documentary and how they’re following Trina around. She says Trina feels she has to participate, and Portis is angry with Drew for pressuring her daughter.
Ava tells Portia to talk to Curtis, but Portia says he’ll be upset she didn’t tell him sooner. She says Curtis will never forgive her. Ava tells her to stop digging herself in deeper, but Portia says if Curtis finds out she lied to him again her marriage is over, as Isaiah overhears.
Nina doesn’t understand why Curtis isn’t plastering Aurora with an anti-Drew message, but he says Portia persuaded him to back down. Curtis tells her that he thinks Portia is being blackmailed by Drew.
Nina complains about Drew and how he’s manipulating Willow and that it will end in disaster. She says Drew thinks they’ll walk into court and win because Michael won’t be there to defend himself.
Drew stops by the mansion to talk to Tracy about their plans to take down Sonny. He says he’s going to run Sonny out of town and will have Ezra elected, which will eliminate Sonny’s hold on the mayor’s office. Tracy doesn’t like Ezra and doesn’t want him as mayor, but Drew says if she wants Sonny gone, Laura has to go as well.
Drew reminds her when he gets rid of Sonny, he wants the Quartermaine name back and access to the estate. Tracy says it’s not her call, and he needs to talk to Monica and reminds him that he destroyed Michael’s marriage. Tracy says she’ll agree to the name but that’s all he’s getting.
Carly tells Sonny about the court date for the divorce and custody hearing. She says she thought it would be August, but June came up sooner. She says Michael won’t be returning for it because she’ll take care of it herself, which Sonny doesn’t like. Carly hasn’t told Michael because she doesn’t want him to lose time for his healing. She thinks she’ll get temporary custody until Michael comes home. Sonny says Nina and Ric will fight her. Carly says Drew won’t be able to stay away, and he’s proof Willow is unfit.
Sonny says it’s Michael’s call and there is no guarantee it will work. He says Michael won’t thank her for making decisions without his permission. Carly says it’s worth it to make sure the grandchildren are safe which means getting custody. She says she doesn’t trust Willow, but Sonny says if this doesn’t work and Michael loses his kids, she’ll lose Michael.
Gio and Brook Lynn come across Cody and Lulu and he apologizes to her about what happened to Rocco. Brook Lynn defends Gio being there for Rocco. After they leave, Lulu admits she doesn’t know if Brook Lynn knows Gio is her son but continues to think she’s a lying liar. Cody doesn’t agree but Lulu says her gut is telling her this is true. Cody wonders how they can prove it, and Lulu says the key is Gio’s mother Camilla.
The two look through birth records to find that a Brook Lynn Cerullo who gave birth to a baby boy on May 15th. She checks birth records for June 4th but doesn’t find a baby boy Cerullo or Palmieri born that day. Lulu says to prove Camilla isn’t Gio’s mother, they need to find out where she was the day Brook Lynn gave birth.
At the mansion, Rocco apologizes to Gio and says he’s grateful for his help, and none of this was his fault. Gio says he can handle Dante, but Rocco shouldn’t drink again until he’s twenty-one.
Brook Lynn praises Gio for how he handled Rocco and reassures him Dante will come around. Gio says he’s fine with Dante not having any use for him. Gio says Dante doesn’t like him and there’s no point pretending otherwise.
Brook Lynn tells Tracy she’s sad today because it’s the day she gave birth to her son. Tracy says she spoke with Lulu and she’s dropping the adoption story. Brook Lynn is relieved Lulu won’t be disrupting the boy’s life.
Curtis summons Drew and accuses him of blackmailing Portia.
Sonny searches out Willow and says things are going to get ugly. He says they need to figure out a compromise to figure out what’s best for kids. He wants them to make peace.
Nina heads to Carly’s for help before Drew ruins the kid’s lives.
